Well, he's done it again.
NATE DOSS is the 2007 WORLD CHAMPION!!
Markus Kalstrom mounted a mighty charge, shooting 8 under in the final 9 (and closing to within two strokes in the semi-final this morning).
But Nate held him off with a birdie on Hole 8 of the final 9 (with Kalstrom taking his first par of the afternoon) to seal the deal.
Way to go Nate!! Congratulations!!!!

It is so wonderful to have such a well spoken and congenial Champion (from our home course no less) as a representative of disc golf to the rest of the world!
I hope the club can spearhead some sort of celebration for Nate up on the course once he returns. It would also be great to have some press coverage once he returns (if there hasn't been some already).
And NorCal did very well. Very proud of the other Champs (Kreml and Oates) and how close Kenny Lee came in his rookie season as a GM.
Makes me want to play...

Good point, we didn't have a club party last year, we should definitely do one this year. Then we can pour our own champagne on Nate!

I think the plan is to celebrate Nate's championship at Shaffer after the annual tournament on September 1st.
Unfortunately, it overlaps the monthly.
