Hey Dave,

Actually, the weather changes so fast here, there would be no "fair" way to get everyone through. It's a gamble...

Cheers,
Steve

Re:Lonhart goes under! - 2005/08/10 18:45
Hi All,

Well, today was much better for me. Had really good drives, and hit about 2/3 of the putts. Still have more birdies to get, and the course we finished on today is the one I start on tomorrow.

Dan had a rough round, but he has lots of room for improvement. He'll do well tomorrow at Snow Bowl!

Well, I won't be able to make up the strokes to get into the final four, but I am well-positioned to make the Semis, and hopefully end in the top 20--which was my original goal.

We have several NorCal guys doing well, including Chris Wood and Evan Sjostrom (he's a lefty, and there are LOTS of lefty shots; it's been anhyzer central for me...).

Thanks for all the positive thoughts!!
Adios,
Steve-O

Nice shooting Steve. Now that the pressure is off, I'm sure you'll shoot the lights out.

Next time you see Woods and Evan, pass on my greetings. Let em know we're rooting for all our NorCal discers.

Cheers!

Hey All,

Finished Thorpe--shot a -4 with one bogey, and hit a basket on a drive. All and all a good round. NorCal is still doing well, but the leaders are way out there, and not likely to lose ground.

I play Little America in 55 min. It rained just after our round ended, and now it's threatening... Let's hope for more non-rain (there is no such thing as clear skies in Flagstaff--barely seen any blue!!).

Thanks for all the positive thoughts!! I think there will be several guys from NorCal in the top 30 come Saturday AM and the semifinal round.

Cheers,
Steve

8-11 update - 2005/08/11 16:38
Hi DeLa folks!

Just finished my second round of the day (at Little America) and ended with a 35 ft bird to go -3 for the round. Very happy about that, given the poor drives I had!

Dan had a rough day at Snow Bowl, and I get to battle it in the morning tomorrow. Rained most of the afternoon, but not too bad.

Anyways, I'm slowly creeping up. I hope to stick around in the top 20 from here on out...

Adios,
Steve-O
