FM 103.9 Event?? - 2005/08/24 08:16
My wife heard on FM 103.9 (Santa CruzX) that the radio station was hosting a "big disc golf event" to get kids and adults out playing disc golf, with food, prizes, giveaways, etc. This is coming up on a Wed.
Does anyone know anything more about this? I emailed the station asking for more info., and asking if there was anything the club could do to help.

I like your approach of offering help. I think that we might want to impress them with the same issues that we were discussing during DC's planned big doubles round back in June. "Can you please schedule this with the club?" kind of thing.
Now I have a reason to move my dial from 107.5 for a few days...

I called and left a message with their promotions director. I figure we might as well try to make contact through as many channels as possible.

Texting women happens more often than you think. And, it can lead to some serious repercussions. But, at least you can't impregnate one that way! So, it falls under the category of safe sex!
