2005 Delaveaga Doubles Turkey Shoot
DATE:SUNDAY, November 20 TIME:Sign in will be from 7AM to 9AM Players meeting at 9AM - Tee off at 9:30AM SHARP FORMAT:27 holes BEST SHOT PRO and AM pools PICK YOUR PARTNER ENTRY FEE: PROS - $35 AMS - $25 Winners of each pool will get Turkeys Payouts will depend on participation
There will be prizes for "turkeys" during the round and a CTP.
Sunday it is. Alfie, Dave Carnaghe and Joe Neu are the main sponsors of the event. Dave Carnaghe has stepped up to provide some turkeys. So make sure you give a great big "Thanks" to these guys when you see them on the course.

Alright! I'm gonna take Casper as my partner and we'll play Am2. (I promised him he could play a doubles tournament when he turned 5 years old.) He is really excited. Big thanks to Alfie, Dave and Joe. May your putts never fall short.

I am definetly playing in the Turkey Shoot. I am excited to have another tournament we should have more. I would be in all of them. My partner will be my dad so watch out we come to win! Is there going to be an Am 1 and Am 2 or is it just going to be ams and pros? We're shooting 20 down at the least so to compete you better bring your games. lol Is it $25 per team or per person? Just wondering. It will be fun hope to see a lot of the regulars out there.

It is $35/$25 per team.
There will be divisional play if there are enough playing in each division to allow for it. At least that's my understanding, but I could be mistaken. I know we would LOVE to have a good turnout for a Women's division.
But honestly, with all the pins in the short positions...it shouldn't matter a whole lot. And I think most of us would prefer to make each pool as large as possible. So it will probably just be three pools - Pro/Am/Women.
Just get a partner and show up. We'll figure out the rest. It depends on the makeup of the teams that show up whether we go to divisional play beyond those three categories.
