World Disc Games 2008 - 2008/05/11 20:27
I recently found out about the World Disc Games that will be held at UCSC in July this year. The week long event includes disc golf, distance, free style and other disc related competition It sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Teams of four compete in different disc competitions and are scored as a group and individually.
If anyone is interested in being on a team I'm definitely game! Personally I'd love to have crack at the distance record and disc golf of course...duh! The freestyle event is another story.

For anyone that is interested...I found out you do not need to be on a team to register. I've signed myself up to compete in disc golf, distance, and double disc.
I've never competed in field events before so this is new to me...if anyone has some training advice for distance throwing I'm open to suggestions

I believe two rounds at De La and there will be a final nine round at UCSC.
