well, i didn't make it- don't know if that makes me a loser or not - but I heard Chris E. brought and defended tag #4.

I also heard that the group arbitrarily decided not to putt off the ties this time, whereas usually they do. i don't agree with the putt-off, but I do think there should be consistency.

hi jack,

i don't agree with the putt-off either, believing one should beat the other player for the lower tag. however, i agree with consistency, as well.

the issue last thursday, at least for me, was that the sun had already set, and it was just to dark for my old eyes . therefore, i did not think it was appropriate to putt-off in the dark....most others agreed.

Jack, if you weren't there, you couldn't have been responsible for posting scores, therefore not the loser I was talking about. However, since you didn't participate, how could you be a winner?

I think the non-puttOff is valid since you should have to beat someone to take their tag. BUT, it has become a custom in our weekly bagtag challenges and adds a heck of a lot of fun! And, the fact that you may not be defending the tag number you had at the beginning of the round, I feel puttOffs are appropriate for the challenge, not regular bagtagging.

Hi All,

I am for the putt-off. It's kindof like PKs at the end of a soccer match. And seeing as how I have LOST every single putt-off I've been in (at least twice to Stan ), I figure I know the pain, yet I'm still for it.

Cheers!
Steve
