Sunday doubles at De La is the best thing since disc-catcher baskets! While playing on Sunday not only did some one duce I-5, he was actually my partner! Coming hot off of a Birdie at 12, we booth throw not so great drives. Toms' to the left, mine, right of the path. When we approached Toms' disc it looked like a stump had kept if from skipping down the hill, but with the trunk of a big tree close to our throw. We still had no view of the basket and about 130+ to go. My roller goes right, and stays in 14's fairway. So Tom grabs a star max and starts to think, "maybe a hyzer laser skip shot?" He throws and the disc disappears threw the twisted branches. A pause. And than CHING! It echoed threw the canyon below, followed by, "Ha! Uh?! I hit it!, is it in there? could it have? Wow that sounded great!" "Its in!" the other team acknowledged subtlety . "Its in! Ha Ha! Wow did that sound cool!" Tom kept saying. We soon discovered it had shattered the chains after a skip, on its way back up. We turkyed 12-14, and tied for second that week with a 10 down for $30. Wish you all could have seen it!
