$1 for the mowers - 2006/04/20 10:09
I completely forgot about this until CJ walked up to me yesterday and handed me a $1 while I was mowing...
Last year, we thought it would be nice to recognize people out there working with a little more incentive than a pat on the back. And also maybe provide some incentive for other people (besides a very few of us) to get out there and practice their drives by starting up a lawn mower.
I'm not complaining by the way - I actually enjoy mowing. I love being the feeling of accomplishment and looking out on the fairways and knowing that people are going to enjoy playing the course a little more thanks to something I've done. I understand completely if you don't have the time.
Wait...I take that back...I don't have the time either. I mean I'd rather be playing golf myself!
