I did some work today and wanted to let Kevin Crews, the head of the DDGC maintenance committee, know that I tackled some of the issues I raised last night at the club meeting.
1. Tee #24 oak tree trimming 2. Hole #24 clearing the hanging oak branchlets over the exit paths from both pin positions 3. Hole #7 one of the large acacia limbs behind the deep placement 4. Path 8A next to log, trimmed branches on trail 5. Stairs up to #12 pounded in the rebar, and down from 12, and trimmed along that path for head clearance 6. Re-strung caution tape along #13 and removed excess
To allay the fears of some, my goal was to remove things with sharp points that could injure you--whether they are broken branches or metal rods.
Also, it might be nice to have a log of what has been done.
Cheers, Steve
