Move baskets to speed up play - 2007/05/22 12:34
With all the tourists and out-of-school students about to descend on our course for the summer, I suggest we move some baskets shorter in order to speed up play. This should happen this week, before the Memorial Day weekend. I can help after 4:30pm any day this week.

They usually get moved around a bit after the Master's Cup, but generally everyone is just too fatigued after all the "hoo hah" of the event to get on with it right away.

Plus, it gives the locals a chance to play the championship layout for at least a few days before 17 comes out of its sleeve and compare their scores with tournament players. It offers the hypothetical: 'man...I can shoot as well as those guys' or 'how the !@#$ did they DO that?'.

It'll happen.

Got to admit it sure is fun being able to play the course long w/ 29 total holes. At least for a short while.
