24 Charity benefit - 2004/06/28 10:02
The 24 marathon has received funding from Shoppers Corner, New Leaf Market to help make our BBQ possible
We love local support!
We anticipate having juice from Odwalla to get you through the day, and form Elxer to get you throgh the night
Wether you are playing the whole event, or just a portion, I hope you'll make it out to Robs to join us for the BBQ

Does anyone have news on the night-time portion of the event? I've heard that we can't do it at Delaveaga because of permits, etc.
What's the scoop?

That's correct. No night play at Delaveaga, just so ya know alcohol, and dogs off leashes are also illegal at Dela as well.
I have information on the night portion, and since I am running the event, you can be assured that the info is accurate.
The details are already posted on this site under Coloroed Mach 11 Pole Hole.
First, you do not need verification if you are only doing a portion of the event. Many people will simply play a round or 2 and turn in their numbers Sunday. Verification is only applicable to the side challenge.
Start time I moved back to 9 AM at Delaveaga.Check in 8-9
"verification" is only applicable to the side challenge. Basically it means the side challenge players will play the same holes of the same courses in the same time frames so that the challenge is fair, and clearly defined. Also- everyone will no where they stand along the way,and can help motivate each other. It will look something like this.
9 AM to 12:30 PM round 1 Delaveaga 1PM to 4:30 PM round 2 Delaveaga (allows for busy sat course and short rest)
After round 2, we head down to Rob?s to BBQ and have a short rest.
6 -8 PM round 3
8-10 - round 4
10-12 round 5
Break
1-3 round 6
3-6 round 7.
6-9 round 8
All players who complete this set will qualify for the grand prize. Those Players, * at the end of qualifying will decide who will win the prize, decided byafinal CTP, If no one completes the full 24 hours, the prize will go the person who completes the most qualified holes. If the field is reduced to 4 players before the end of 24 hours, and the set is not completed last 4 palyers still playing will be the sole qualifiers for the grand prize.
