Also - we're planning on posting tee times at DJ's Mini-Mart (and possibly a couple of other locations) so it won't be necessary to drive all the way up to the course to find out when you're playing (for players from out of town that may not have internet access).

I adjusted the message board time offset so that it is correct now [or, reasonably so], and a reason why things may seem out of order...

Can someone effectively explain how the tee times will work at the AM Master's Cup?
Does it mean, you can get there in the morning but not start until 2:30? everyone starts on 1?

RE: tee times
I would guess it means everyone, or most people start on hole 1 in groups of 4, about every 5 or 7 minutes? It looks like the memorial is doing that this year.
It presuppoes no day of registration as that's the only way to make all of (or most of) the tee times and have them posteed the afternoon before you play.
The could be webbified as well too so that if your tee time isn't until "2:30" you will no with enogh notice that you don't have to hang around all morning.
I'm guessing the hope is that you won't hang around all day becaue there isn't enough parking.
Having Tee times should keep people coming and going from the course to help ease that problem, as opposed to having everyone there all at once.
You could use the time to warm up at lower Delaveaga.
I'm curios about the $175 ? Is that on par with the rest of the NT?

hi scott,
basically, we will be experimenting with a Tee-Time format, as opposed to our common Pool Format.
all players will have a 'designated' start time, teeing off from hole #1.
all divisions will tee off in order.. therefore, am 1 may tee off first on friday, followed by am2, etc. then maybe am2 will tee off first on saturday followed by am masters...this has not yet been completely decided on.
therefore, if your designated start time is not til 12:00 noon, then you do not have to be at the course until just before that time [minimum requirement is to be at hole #1 about 10 minutes prior to your tee off]. we are going to plan on groups of 4 going off at 10 minute interval, and see how it goes.
