Re: What to play? - 2005/02/26 08:23
Hey, Thanks to everybody who took the time to give this info. My friends and I will be there 3/9 to 3/13 - only a couple weeks away. We had a meeting around a keg a couple nights ago to make some general plans. I think we'll play Dela on Wed., and then head up to Sacramento to play Thur., spend the night there, then do the Valleys the next day, then head over to Napa and Novato, and back to the San Fran area. Coolio. Thanks again. Hope to see some of you out there. If you ever need any Colorado disc golf info, contact me at link name

Norcal ROCKS!!! - 2005/03/14 10:44
WoW! What an amazing disc golf vacation! We had a great time in California. THANKS to everyone that offered suggestions and helped make our trip so cool. We got to do almost everything we wanted and loved every minute of it.
Great to meet you, Runner. Special thanks to Jake, our first kind friend; Jeramiah, a friend in deed; the gang at Auburn; Michael Travers in Penn Valley; and Brad and John at Stafford Lake. It would not have been what it was without you.
Here is how our trip went:
Wed - De Laveaga - 34 holes (plus one on the ball course after dark)
Fri - Auburn - 18 holes Grass Valley - 18 holes Penn Valley - 36 holes
Sat - Golden Gate - 12 holes Aquatic Park - 15 holes (rest)
Sun - Stafford Lake - 25 holes
We liked all the greenery, the terrain, and the challenge at most of these courses. The favorite was Stafford Lake (the absolute BOMB!), followed closely by Penn Valley, De Laveaga, Auburn, and Grass Valley. Orange Vale was cool too but crowded.
THANKS AGAIN for your help. WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME THROWING IN NORCAL!!!
