Hey Guys, I even have an excuse (Japanese visitor this weekend) but have already told Daviar that I will TD on Saturday. I won't be playing so Tomoko and Amy will just come up and hang out with me during the round. We met about it last night and everything looks in order. I will probably need some help in setting up, totaling scores, etc.
I spoke with Mark K last night. He and Nate are back in town. I encouraged Mark to get Nate out for the monthly so that we can start giving him the well deserved atta boys.
On the monthly subject, we have a conflict for September. The St. Francis charity event is planned for the same morning as the normal monthly. I would like to announce a schedule change this weekend (if there is one). I feel like DDGC should support the St. Francis (at least with volunteers and maybe with $$). The scheduling was unfortunate. But I think we have two options:
1. Make the St. Francis the monthly for September. 2. Play the monthly later in the day (~3:00) to avoid a conflict.
Your opinions will be appreciated.
Good luck to those playing the frying pan this weekend and those headed to the Worlds in Flagstaff. We want another Junior champ!!
