Sure. The mouse can have it's own registration at the mouse and it's own money pool. But for those playing both, they can pick up a little extra.

Dela - $5 to play - $10 for the cash pool (by division)
Mouse - $5 to play - $10 for the cash pool
Everyone who plays both and registers for both at Dela will have an additional $2 from their entry fee added to the pool for those who are playing both courses and play for cash.

So if you have 10 players who play the mouse for cash and 5 played Dela and the finish is like this:

Stan (BM)
Gabe (Both)
Heath (Both)
Ed (BM)
Daviar (Both)

$50 from Black Mouse
$10 from Dela reg

Payout would be something like:
Stan: $25
Gabe $20 (playing both - $15 for BM and $5 for best overall score)
Heath $13 (playing both - $10 for BM and $3 for overall score)
Ed - nada
Daviar - $2

Why do I only get $2?

Okay...okay...I changed it - now I'm only getting $2 and you're getting $20.

Basically, I just wanted to show that someone could place higher than you (me) and not get anything while you (me) might walk away with something.

The paydown for BM in this scenario would leave Ed out of the money, but if he would have played both courses, he'd at least get something back.

Of course, the amounts depend on the number of players.

G's,

Sounds rad to me! I'm not quite sure I understand the entire idea Dave, but I'll trust you (and re-read yer posts).

It would be so cool to get enough community interest in The Mouse that we could get more real tees, and possibly the rest of the course back!

That place is challenging. Anyone shooting under par should be very proud. Even with an ace, I shot a 3 last Sunday!

If we're gonna be having a semi-organized tournament up there, may I suggest something? I would really like to ask everyone to help keep it clean. I'd even go so far as to designate some kind of additional prize (I'll buy you a burrito afterwards, etc...) to the person who collects the most trash during the round.

Maybe that's asking a lot, but don't we all do that at DeLa? I know I do... usually

I'll be around. Feel free to reply with better suggestions/BM future related ideas.

BTW, anyone know who to contact about that place? An email? I really want to start taking that place more seriously in 2006

Hey Heath, how is basket #4 (I think?) looking...it was devastated last time I played there. This is the one where you drive down the hill and in the basket is in front of the gate...somebody vandalized that sucker!

Well...

It's there. It catches discs If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure a tree was either felled onto it, or came down in a storm. It's all good though... just makes for a little tougher put (which I missed last time I played it).

Number three is in a different spot too. It came outta the dirt a while back, and it was placed up against a stump a few feet lower, and behind where it was before. It's actually a cool spot for it, and it's really stable there.

If Stan brings his basket we'll be able to set it up for number 14... I just hope someone doesn't show up and grab it while we're on the other side of the mountain shooting.

Here's a potential problem: The way all us locals play, number 8's basket also becomes the basket for an additional tee used as number 11. Also, unoffically, number 12 shoots to the number 10 basket, and the watertower shot shoots to number 9's basket.

I'm workin' on a really crappy map, but I think we'll all need to determine what's what before we play... there's the potential to drop shots onto other players if we use the additional tees (which I highly suggests we do).

ANy ideas!?
