Cool, thanks for the info. It would have been a bummer to repeat the experiments that you already tried. I'll see what I can do in tracking down an auger. How wide of an auger did you use? What did you use to drive it, or was it a manual one?

Hey Stan, I spoke with Jake Weston over the weekend. He said that he has an auger that we can use to bore out the holes that have wood stuck in them.
