Hey Stan,

Writing from the Holiday Inn in Rock Hill South Carolina! We had really nice weather today--we'd been expecting rain and it was overcast, warm, and not too windy. But it is supposed to rain tonight.

I shot today about as well as I could. I hope to just keep it around par the rest of the way. This course is just crazy. So much OB--it's almost too much.

But the tournament is beyond first rate. I can't even start to list the amenities.

Anyways, keep the postive thoughts coming.

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, Steve did great yesterday.

DeLa seems well represented at USDGC '06, keep it up!

Marty is not off to a great start this morning, let's see if he can turn his round around!

P.S. I wonder what the '07 USDGC Rocs will look like...

Hey Stan et al.,

Wow, what a difference a day makes! Instead of rain, we had beautiful clear skies and 15-20 mph winds. The wind really impacted my game, especially on hole #13 (aka 888). I triple bogeyed it today (birdied yesterday), and that was the second best score in the group!! One guy had an 11 triple P in my group! Even Brad Hammock, who started off really hot, shot a double bogey on the hole.

Things were ok until hole #17, the haybale hole. Missed it twice and had to go to the drop zone for the 6 PP. And I birdied it yesterday! Oh well.

The highlight was birdying #5 in the wind. Very cool!

Anyways, I came back to earth (two triple bogeys are like lead balloons).

Tomorrow is a new day, and I look forward to a better round.

Cheers from SC,
Steve-O

Steve shoots a -4 for his third round. Way to pull it together Steve and have a clean round. Only one double and one single bogie on the day.

Myles struggled a bit in the middle. He ended at +3, very respectable and he should make the cut.

Nate is still out there and at last check was -3 after 12.
