Safari Dis to Dela? - 2007/08/22 10:15
I was feeling a little left out when they didn't call my name (last cash) during the awards ceremony at the Safari on Sunday, but figured it was the result of an inexperienced TD. They were able to sort out my script after a little wait...
Now I've heard that several other players (Don, Jon, Hagen, others??) from Dela also got skipped over during the awards and had to visit the tournament trailer to sort out their prizes. I hadn't noticed that on Sunday because I was busy dealing with my script and missed the majority of the awards.
I'm feeling a little bit put off by what seems to be a DELA DIS.
Any other thoughts on that??

I don't think Jon B. or Hagen were missed, I think it was kevin Crews and Chris Foss and with Don they asked him what he place he got 9th or 10th. But nobody knew for sure since they didn't post the Pro division scores. The guy had them in his pocket but he was busy running the CTP contest.

I wasn't there, but Stan mentioned to me that this was the first year the SFDGC club has run the Safari. I'm sure that has a lot do do with it. Besides, why would anyone dis Dela? We're so darn nice! (plus we sponsored one of their holes . . . )
