Many thanks to Mark Karleskind (DeLa Disc Man) and all of his friends and family who helped prepare the course and cook the food. The tri-tip was excellent!
And it was very appropriate that Our Champ played the tournament and won! Nate graciously donated his $100 to the St Francis soup kitchen and showed--yet again--why he's such a class act.
Wayne Shaffer was also an excellent host as usual, and he was beaming about the over $1000 raised for the soup kitchen. That money will go a long way.
And finally, thanks to all the guys that hung out afterwards, playing hoops, horseshoes, bocci ball, etc. Kirk commented everyone--no matter the age--was like a kid again. It's great that disc golf can do that, and better still, that over 50 people came together to support our local community support system.

PS Chris Foss--don't mess with Baby Shack down low! I may have only scored 2 pts all day, but that last one brought the house down!
PPS Thank God for Stan as my teammate. 6'4" shooting guard...

Yeah, but I payed for those points. I could barely move yesterday. Being out of shape and getting old is tough. Thanks for the Shaq moves and posting the scores. http://www.santacruzdisc.com
