I know it is generally considered a bad thing to do...but... ....any chance we can have hole 27 in the short position from now until the Ice Bowl, then switch it back at the end of the Ice Bowl? That would be about three weeks of it being in the alternate spot...
And if not that, how about 13 in the straight (shorter) position for that same interval?!? It's there SO seldom...
Just some ideas for a short period of time... It's not like there will be a flood of out-of-towners during that period (I would argue it would be lower than any other time of year).

I personally would like to see that change happen for both holes, also. The may not be the best positions for those holes, but it's really nice to have something different for a while. I would do it, but I'm out of town starting tonight and will not be able to make it to the course before I leave.
As far as the positions go for the ice bowl, Mark, who is the TD, usually likes to have it all short so that it's possible to finish both rounds before loosing daylight. Alternate positions for that tournament should be discussed with him.

Big Kudos to Mark K. and his family!
The 2008 (N)Ice Bowl was great. Not sure how many players there were total, but it had to be in the 80s or so. As usual, the chili and corn muffins were great, the weather was awesome, and I think we brought in a lot of canned goods for those less fortunate than us.
Congratulations to Nate Doss for winning Open and Merle Witvoet Open Grandmasters.
