It was discussed at the meeting about auctioning off the basket, but no plans made at that point. Good idea! It will be interesting to see how many people are interested.

I haven't seen it for myself, but I heard that it was put back in the ground in a different placement. That sounds interesting, but how playable is that basket? I'd rather auction it off, personally.

The shiny, new DGA basket is in at the usual spot on hole 22. The old, slightly mangled basket is now in my hands.
So I suggested that old basket 22 should be up for auction as a potential way to get some $ out of it, but I'm not sure how to have an auction with "fair" notice to all etc. I hope to attend the next club meeting to discuss options.
But in the meantime, throw out ideas etc.
