anyone know what the staus is on the pinto course? work days? i live a few miles away and would be glad to help out. weedwackers, saws, pics, shovels.....you name it and i probably have it.

There are two practice baskets in near the parking lot, and a basket for #1. Tom Schot is out there every Saturday, from about 10-2, and welcomes any and all help. Weed eaters, trimmers and saws are most useful, especially chain saws.
I believe the focus the next week or so will be clearing hole #1 completely. You can walk down from the parking lot. The basket is to the right of the road about 200 feet past the gate.
EVERYONE is invited to help in any way they can, even just dragging tree limbs into a pile for 20 minutes.

Just so people know, there is two access points to Pinto Lake. The course is being laid out in the second access road. It's not the one that you can see from the road with the softball field. Go past that and look to the left and you'll see the road that leads you to it.

Hello Well there is much work to be done and Tom Schott welcomes people to help him, like I have been doing for the past couple Tuesday afternoons. Just last Tuesday, Tom was telling me that a Mark emailed him asking about it and if he could help, well the Mark was going to meet Tom out there around 4:00 PM, but it never happened for Mark to come out?(I guess something happened right?)

dolan, i emailed tom last tuesday to find out what days he would be at pinto, but i never said i would be there that day. i did meet up with tom on thursday to help out. see you there tomorrow?

Any word on this insane course!?!? I walked it with Mr Harding a couple months back... looks to be one of the sweetest, most challenging around... even better than the new Monterey courses!
