Speaking of aces, our friendly local, Don Hitchman, aced hole 6 at CSUMB Oaks course on 5/22. This may be the first recorded ace at Oaks!(?) At any rate, hats off to Don for a goodrun.

Congrats Russ!!! I'm sorta there with ya. I've been playing DeLa for 13+ years and the only Ace I hit was on 23 using a 175g Valk at 6:00am by myself years ago. And, the only witness was this old lady who always walked her little bitty dog in the mornings there. But when I asked her if she would sign my disc, she thought I was trying to pull something on her and split. My only witness -- The warped thing is, everyone I've introduced the sport to, has hit several aces in way less time playing. AND, I've payed out I don't know how much friggin' ACE money over the years. (hint: don't play hole 9 with Merle when you're broke)

Nice job Russ! That's such a fun shot to watch.
My first ever ace was on 25 short with a x2 driver. I later aced it again with a Super Roc. I've aced 21 with a KC Aviar. I've aced 17 with a KC AViar (different one) I've aced 6 with a KC Roc (anhyzer, bounced off the tree into the basket) I've aced 7 with a Super Roc.

That is probably my favorite ace because of the placement of the basket on the stump and the fact that all of you pros were out there playing and saw it. Tony was standing right below the basket when it went in. Another fun one to watch. http://www.santacruzdisc.com

Congrats to Russ and everyone else that is a member of the DeLa Ace Club. I, like Gabe, have yet to get my first, though I have been Soooooo close. Its just a matter of time and the right wind I guess.
