I just heard that Skippy is TDing the Santa Cruz Open again this year. The dates of Fri. July 15 - Sun. July 17 have been posted on freestyledisc.org . With the cancellation of World Disc Games for 2005, this may be your only local chance to get your overall game on. I played at UCSC last year and had a blast. The events were Disc Golf, Distance, Accuracy, MTA, DDC and Freestyle. I don't know if the format will change this year, but I've already emailed Skippy asking him to keep me updated as the event gets closer. I'll post what I hear from him.

In an effort to keep the overall tournaments going here in Santa Cruz I'm running the 2nd Annual Santa Cruz Open Overall Tournament on July 14th-16th (thurs-sat) here at UCSC. After that we're going down to Manresa State Beach for the Freestyle component of the overall. The UCSC competition will feature -Golf -Distance -Self Caught Flight -Accuracy -Double Disc Court $20 gets you in w/ a Tshirt. The field will be International with Japan, New Zealand, Belgium and about 12 Italian freestylers. Check with me before hand if you're coming so I can get a good head count. Next year I'm hosting the annual Masters Overall. This is an incredible event that rotates locations every year. If you've got the skills you won't want to miss either of these.
