The day of our tournament is almost upon us and it is looking like it is going to be better than expected thanks to the kind and generous Mr. Rob Harding! Rob donated some Santa Cruz Disc shirts and discs for prizes along with a basket that we will sell to the highest bidder. These prizes will be given out and the basket auctioned off after the round is over. Hope to see you Saturday! Ben & Chris

Chris,
I'm not going to be able to make the tournament, but drop me an email stan [dot] pratt [at] gmail [dot] com with the details of what basket Rob donated and I'll put in a silent bid for it.

What are the details of this tournament? I gather it's tomorrow (July 9)...what time, what is entry fee?
By the way, I'm not liking the new Quarter K driver. The curved bottom lip makes it slip right out of my small fingers! Plus the plastic is kinda crappy, won't last more than a week up at DeLa!!! I'm not seeing it go any futher than a Starfire either.

The Quarter K is much more durrable than it looks.
I've had one for over a month, and although it does appear to chunk up, it is no less stable than it started.
The ronded bottom edge is what is giving it advanced speed and glide. It also skips a friggin mile after it touches down.
Furthest disc I 've thrown, but it takes some getting used. Much more glade than the starfire, and decevingly fast.
I'm willing to bet you will see more and more of their desing idea's implemented in US manufactured discs over the next few years.
It is awakward in the hand though, it almost like throwning a whole new object.
