Attack of the Yellow Jackets - 2007/06/04 11:08
Me and the crew were attacked by ankle biting Yellow Jackets down by the Fridge on 12. I had to give up a new KC Roc, rather than getting a sixth bite.

After we finished up on 27, there was another nest disturbed by a dead tree near the #2 tee pad. More bites, no one got stung.

The city/county doesn't manage the swarming pests, but can we?

They have yellow jacket traps at OSH I think. I can pick a few up if that's okay.

I don't want to disrupt the natural habitat, and if trapping some yellow jackets is a bad thing, I'll put up with avoiding their nests.
