Sunny Ashby, Carrie Berlogar and Donald Smith will be among the top locals competing at the Disc Golf NorCal-SoCal Championships this weekend at the DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course.

Ashby won the Faultline Tournament in Santa Cruz two months ago. Ashby is sponsored by Discraft, as is Berlogar. Smith is sponsored by the Disc Golf Association, a Watsonville disc golf company.

The tourney starts at 1 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. It will feature a head-to-head skins format as well as a doubles competition. Northern California has won the tournament the past two years.
