 Much like hole 7, this hole also features a narrow fairway and low ceiling. Aptly nicknamed "the Tunnel," a straight, low throw can get through unscathed. But throw it too high and it won't get 50 feet, too far left and you're across the OB inlet road, and too far right plunges you down a tree-covered slope. And since the road wraps behind the hole, too far period will cost you as well. The basket, which can be seen clearly from the barely elevated tee, has three medium-size oaks 20 feet in front of it as the only objects between you and the chains. Throw it absolutely perfect and you have no worries. |
