We need some Benches 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 3
Our course is looking Rag Tag, The bench on hole 2 is ready to be upgraded, we need a bench on #14, #15 and 26A. I only mention this cause it was mentioned to me and I have to agree. I'm willing to help.

wow a bench on 15 ! ! finally.

CJ, I though I mentioned to you that my shop (Boicelli Cabinets) would donate some benches.
Jim you donate more than your share, if you haven't already built the other (26A also) benches, we would be happy to at least provide the benches ready to set (I think we already built some)
please let me know...
either way, no worries... La Raza could surely use some benches as well.

Check the height on next benches though, these seem a little low to the ground compared to other benches on the course.

Here are some general guidelines for outdoor public benches...

The seat should be between 2 and 10 degrees off of horizontal.
The depth of the seat should be 12 to 18 inches for benches with backs, and 30 inches for backless benches.
A seat height of 18-20 inches is the most comfortable.
The front edge of the seat should be curved rather than squared off.
The most comfortable seating surface is wood, which is resilient and does not readily conduct heat or cold.
