Feburary Monthly! So, are the bag tags ready? Will they be there?

Hi Everett,

From what I gather, the tags will be available at the March monthly.


I am wondering if we shouldn't back track and count January and February monthly points for anyone who plays the March monthly and buys a bag tag (or just joins/renews and picks up a tag by some cut off date in March, say, the "Ides of March", 3/15?). We could even sign people up THIS Saturday with the expectation of bag distribution after the March monthly.


Don't want to lose momentum, do we?

Well, in my humble opinion, we should give them out based on whoever plays the March Monthly, if that's when they are available. Unless, of course, there was a revelation, and suddenly someone stepped up to volunteer, who was really going to take charge of the "points" thing, then I think we should avoid the monthly-points-tally thing altogether, and keep it simple. It doesn't seem like that happened, which is kind of indicated by the fact that it's February, and we still don't have bag tags. (Just like last year) I'm not trying to hurt feelings or cast shadows...just stating my opinion based on observations.

well, this should be interesting. the club is without a secretary, and the other officers (Jon, Stan and me) all have much less time to devote to club matters than in the past. we've been looking for replacements for some time now. will anyone step up?

my input on the tags and the monthlies is to agree with Everett, if the goal is to keep it as simple as possible- which is probably a good idea.

I'm just curious where I can get my Final Bag Tag from last year?
